OLIVIA K. SUGARMAN, PHD, MPH
Hello!
I'm Olivia.
I'm a health policy and services researcher. I use mixed methods approaches, health behavior frameworks, and community-partnered research principles to study substance use disorder, HIV and hepatitis C, and incarceration as a health determinant. My research aims to understand how health policy can promote unencumbered access to high-quality preventative and treatment services.
I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Bloomberg Overdose Prevention Initiative in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with Drs. Brendan Saloner and Sachini Bandara.
